Anyway are you really telling me that in your opinion Legard did more and a better job of commentating than MB and hence took the lead?? If so then you need your head checking imo. It's pretty obivous MB had 1. more knowledge 2. more involvement and 3. kept his job

No you are. You read something and take it as gospel rather than using your own senses. I suspect you are one of these people who believes everything they read in the papers as well.

With respect to what I think about Brundle and Legard, their respective employment status, and their commentating abilities, I suggest that you read my earlier posts on this thread. Might have been better if you had done that in the first place.

Why on earth are you saying that I believe what I read in such a manner? You have no grounds whatsoever to say that.

I saw it as Legard being the official race commentator and Brundle as the general advisor with his enormous knowledge and experience of F1 driving. Just as James Hunt used to do with Murray Walker.
Like you I have full confidence that Brundle will do the full race commentary very well.

Seems to be confirmed. The wife will be pleased if DC gets more airtime - too tight trousers and salmon shirt seems to set her off a treat

The simple fact of the matter was that although JL was the main commentator, he commented too much about too little. Just as MB was starting to speak, JL would start telling us the running order. By the time he'd finished, the point MB was going to make was to far after the event on track had happened.
Guess he got sick and had him booted out. After all, the BBC know who the fans prefer.

Agreed. JL would always try and steal the 'limelight' from Martin......badly as well.
I got fed up with the number of times I was shouting at the tv telling the **** head to shut the **** up!
He was always spouting bollocks about conspiracy theories rather than concentrating on the racing itself. Glad he is gone.
Looking foward to the MB/DC combo.

I have to say I didn't like JL for interupting MB.
Personally I never had any hate for James Allen although there was alot of it about. I think you really should have a commentator and X number of pundits/former racers - V8 Supercars is very funny sometimes when theres a few racers ripping the pi55. Not sure you should have only pundits - the problem is, we like to dislike and the commentator acts as the fall guy for the fans. With two former racers, who will be the fall guy?

TBH I was hoping it was going to be Davidson. Thought he did very well when he stood in that time for ITV.
