Sorry gent's but I really don't have the time to get involved in the RO position here at the moment I've got a lot going on these days. I'm out on the bike at the least twice a week even this weather covering around 15 miles a time plus work are looking to re-locate starting moving around June and since I find myself in charge of a department these day's that's going to consume all my time I spend in work where as I was able to ****** some for myself that's finished these days hence me being a little quiter on here these days.

From experiance team work is the way forward, if someone wishes to take on the RO position there are plenty of good people here that can help to bolster and assist them also advise them and can also help to organise some of the SWS stuff, don't forget that SWS is a team job there's been a lot of stuff we have done that loads of the guys have organised singlehandedly under the SWS umprella, with Kev being RO it was ideal for him to incoporate the SWS job within that but it does not have to be completely as Calvin does a great job with Swansea meets plus other events, Tyrone is spot on and keen as well plus we have had some great stuff organised by Ellis plus Taylor has done a great RR day a couple of years back the list goes on when you sit and think about what we have done guys in the past

Team work is the name of the game, but the new RO must be firm and strict with certain aspects of his role and I'm sure Kev will also give advise if asked.

I'm still here fella's even though I'm a bit quite these day's, many thanks for the vote of confidence though mucho appreaciated

In the early day's when SWS was conceived we had it in mind that it was a group that could go on and on irrelavent whether the same people where about to organise things or not, it was designed as a team effort. If there is no one at the moment that can give to RO job a go then I do feel the SWS team can still keep things going as a group sharing the work between them.

Sorry team that turned into a bit of a speech

Simon

Echo your comments Si.

I did think of chucking my hat in the ring but similarly work will get busy soon with " blokes in the dust" and family already there.

Would SIDC accept a team effort? We have a good team and to keep the spirit alive it may be a good shout.

Ponder?

I'd be happy to be part of a team if anyone else fancies giving me a hand.

I'm happy to help out with organising bits and bobs, my only issue is time (or the lack of it) as at the moment i regularly work 60 odd hours a week as well as my hour daily commute. But I'll pitch in Ty.
We've got a good club here, where you can participate as much or as little as you like. Things went wrong last time where people tried to change the format...if it ain't broke, dont fix it!
