Rant begins
This government is an illegal government, people who were entitled vote were denied their right to vote by the establishments ineptitube in their preparations for their election. if this had happened in a third world country there would be international uproarand there would be pressure applied for a rerun not here why. All the MPs are there to line their pockets with their earning freebies and expenses. They should recieve the national average without expenses, ok give them a free travel pass to use on public transport. There is a bar and resteraunt within the walls of parliament make them use it if they want to dine out make them pay. make them stay in designated hotels paid direct by parliament. and cut the number of them by half (at least) how many levels of government must we pay for we pay for local government then metropolitan council then local mp then european mp. FOR EVERY 1 MPs WAGE BILL WE COULD EMPLOY 4 TO 6 NURSES FIREMEN/WOMEN etc Our taxes no longer pay for what they are supposed to road tax doesn't pay for roads our council tax does its part of the council budget and remit. Rant Over, if someone steals your wallet kick em in the nuts, the government just stole our wallets

The car is designed to run 97 Ron and above and that's what's going in the car, People who keep suggesting LPG in there scooby's make's me laugh, Surely you would realize when you bought it it won't be cheap to run,

Im not gonna say im not pissed off about the high price but i bought the car and i knew it wasn't going to be good on fuel, Lpg would never be an option or running 95 for me

Im all for protesting about it etc but can I ask a question?

What good has it ever done..........Nothing.

I know something has to be done as this is just getting out of hand but as history shows what do we actually accomplish in protests and petitions. We never get lissened to.

I doubt people would have realised that it was going to be 136p odd/ltr when they bought it either. If the car is remapped for 95 what is the problem? the car is designed to run on 97/98 because its mapped for that to exploit its full potential. If there is little to be felt when mapping it for 95 whats the point?

I dont think the problem is with the scoob the problem is that every time you fill up the price seems to be more than when you last filled up.
And a quote from the daily mail

Pump squeeze: Mr Cameron announced the fair fuel price stabiliser last year, when petrol prices stood at a then record of £1.20 a litre. They are now nearly £1.30 a litre

The scheme would see fuel duty fall when oil prices rise, and go back up when the oil price moderates.

It is backed by a senior Tory backbencher, small business leaders and hauliers. But Treasury officials are said to harbour doubts about the practicality of the scheme

don't we all love the government for keeping their promises

I can get my head round these people who say "well you knew how much an impreza is to run when you bougt it"

When I bought mine fuel was around the 90p a litre, so I would of never of thought I would be paying as much as it is now back then.
Its not the cars fault when people say thats an impreza for you. You could have a 1.1 fiesta and still have to pay the same as us.

As long as I am paying towards the 3.0 & 5.0ltr cars to ferry the Priminster around I am happy...........LIKE ****. I love the way you see him out and about making eye contact and shaking hands blah, blah blah and he is walking........what you don't see is the git being picked up in heavy big engined cars. And there is always more than one car.

They get the use of the cars thanks to the hard working joe public taxes.

Surely with the recent hike in my council tax my local MP may let me and the kids play in his second homes pool or something? Knowing my luck it will be the same time Barrymore is hosting a pool party.

petrol by me has gone up 6-7p in two weeks.... 5 of that BEFORE the VAT increase.. theiving *$£&("£&

to top that.. my race scooby used about 80litres in a race weekend.. and has to be at 99.. imagine how much that's going to hurt.. last year buying at 119 now 137... that's 18p a litre, 14 quid a weekend on top of the 100 odd litres of diesel for the tow car and 7 race meetings
