LPG conversion

I can confirm that lpg does kill valves quicker, not sure now much so on a hardend performance engine such as a scoobs but still for the expense of an engine re-build ime not sure i would bother.
Ive just stripped down my Astra 1.6 lpg van engine and rebuilt it because it ate no 2 exhaust valve aparently common on vauxhall engines on standard valves, the factory fitted lpg's came with harder valves so i believe ( it was word of mouth tho).
Flash lube has been suggested to me but ime not convinced it works. My cousin works in a garage and says lpg cars of all makes get this valve wear problem even with the flash lubes on. Ive personally seen 3 in apart from mine being repaired for the same problem, i had to fully rebuild mine tho.
Performance is reduced as standard but if you get it mapped to give the same power output yo wouldnt notice it. Be interesting to see how the scoobs with the kit last and any problems that may or may not occur. Remember you need to have the LPG kit serviced aswell as the cars normal serivices now !!!!

just to say one of their mechanics at the installers has had his N plate Forrester converted 11 months ago , and he says it runs better now do to the higher RON of LPG and with out valve lube, infact all the cars they convert they dont fit valve lube , and after readng a few comments from people who have had theres converted a few years now i beleive its not needed,
