I know mate, still a little sore at not getting chance of a final attempt at a nine last season. Still looks like a good few events for us all this year !

The weather wouldn't make any difference to you John.... you will be in the top 10 regardless for the sprint stuff.

In ya dreams, you're on.

My 2nd and 3rd quickest laps (i did 5 plus sighting) still had me 2nd overall. These full fat STi's arn't too bad you know.

Hopefully it's dry, would be fun to see how far up the car could finish, best i has in scoobysprint was 6th overall. I think top 10 might be quite difficult this time though Shaun, lots of powerful kit out there now.

John Im going to be struggling this year hopefully going to be doing a few rounds work permitting very busy again at the mo,Im also putting the car up for sale due to the son going to uni and the gov putting charges up.On a bright side I have managed to source a classic well 2 in fact which fit the bill for sprinting just need a bit of tidying up and the engines sorted I will of course be going down the route of keeping it simple and transplanting a 6 speed and 2 ltr twinscroll engine into it as they are bullet proof.Hopefully see you at a few rounds so battle can commence as you were my main target/rival last year and the year before just trying to get close to your times,on a plus point as you have mentioned in the past beating times of the big power/money cars was a real buzz in basically an everyday road car

The Scooby Shoot out 2011 is on the 22nd of May at Elvington entrys will be avalable in the Straightliners shop from the 10th of January the cost will be £75 this includes the Drag strip and Handling course and top speed on the 1/2 mile,,, Noise limit is 101db static we will also have drive by on the top speed part of the event limit to be advised

To keep this event 100% Subaru WE WILL NOT TAKE ENTRYS FROM OTHER MAKES untill after the 30th of April we need 80 scoobys or more to make it 100% Scooby if we do not get 80 then it will be opend up to other cars

We are also looking for demo cars for this and some of our other events so if you think you fit the bill please let me know,,,,Trev

Sounds quiet for with even cats to be honest!

Thanks for letting us know Trev - I will definitely be purchasing an exhaust system for track days then, thank you.

Just so you know we have been forced to run a noise abatement program at Elvington for the last 5 years or so and in that time the noise levels have gradually come down but on the plus side car and bike performances have got better with all our class and track records being broken time and agane by silenced cars and bikes

Noise abatement is like a spreading disease and is now affecting most forms of motorsport and tracks and it is something we will have to learn to live with,,,,Trev

To be honest I can't remember how the classes are split, I am sure someone will come along to explain though.
