Getting back to snow. Have you noticed its been measured in cm's for a couple of years now and in that time we've had much more snow!!!!

Coincidence? I think not!!!

I would not deny what you say. I am used to working in imperial and don't find it difficult. Working in metric would not be more difficult as far as I am concerned though.

I still prefer to stick to our own units.

Yeah, this is what I was going on about earlier. The media use the units that are the higher (or lower) amount - whichever heightens the story more - so as to sensationalise said story.

On momentarily glancing at 10 cm, it looks more 'shocking' than 4 inches.
