Your wasting your time looking for me as if I were to join my missus would want to be my friend then most of her sisters would as well and if I typed something I got up to it would be spread all through the inlaws. I really don't need that grief its bad enough when she tells me what the rest of her clan have been up to

Not really as SN is a bit different to FB.
If I sign into SN I can sit here all day and no one nudges me, pokes me or generally annoys the **** off me (well unless I read TdW's posts )
Whereas FB is really InYourFaceBook as everyone can see your online and anooy the **** out of you.

That's OK - you can justify how they are different - they are both social networking sites - it's just that Snet was invented before they were called social networking sites.
If anything Snet is even more ridiculous as you have no idea who most of the people on here are!
PS And there are so many bikini photos on Facebook you wouldn't believe it!

I haven't been nudged/poked since the very early days when it was all new. The main thing that annoys me is game requests, but that really is my own fault, and a cull would probably sort most of that/group requests, but they can be easily ignored or deleted.
I only go on a little bit (far less than here) and tbh I'm glad I do. I have had incredible support from some people, most that I don't see much (and FB has been a good way to keep in contact) when I've needed it the most. It's actually highlighted some really good/true friends. Most of the people on there that annoy me strangely are the ones I see everyday/did class as friends, Micky excluded.
Oh, and it has the odd few games that are fun and pass the time if bored.
I think alot comes down to how a person uses it.
