An employee of mine did win the lottery.

He bought a new VW polo and moved to a slightly bigger house.

I bumped into him a few yrs ago, bare in mind he must have won the lottery 9 yrs previously. he was still driving the same Polo. !!!!

nice chap though and a hard worker. I think he invested into home/property back in India for himself and family.

To be honest, I'd do my level best to try to live on any winnings so it meant I didn't have to work.

If the winfall wasn't so great that it meant leading a pretty boring/'normal' existence, then so be it. Material things, I can get by without...
