i think that drink drivers are as worse as unisured drivers becuase both can kill others on the road.

i think the most suitable punishment would be to BAN the unisured drivers if they are caught for atleast 2 years and the same for Drink drivers.

i have no simpify for them as we all pay for insurance so why dont they have to.

Banning them wont make much difference. If they were prepared to drive uninsured chances are they dont give two hoots about driving on a ban, after all its easier to catch an uninsured driver than it is to catch one on a ban. I feel as though we should start handing punishments out that are inline with the crime. i.e. it costs innocent motorists £1000s the fine is £1000s.

**edit**
Agree with banning drunk drivers as they show a lack of responsibility behind the wheel rather than a premeditated decision.

Hello mate.

Its all well and good banning them but nothing is going to stop them from jumping in the drivers seat the very next day is there.

So we crush their car as well then. That would stop them for a while.

Thats not going to help anyone. Repossessing and selling the cars off at auction to contribute to taxes so that petrol can stop going up would be a much better step.

Thats what happens now. You can pick a car up for as little as £50 these days so if your wanting to bum about in it and get caught your not going to spend loads are you and when you get done again you have only lost £50.

OK fair enough but after what happened to me I would happily crush the car with the uninsured driver still in it.
