I think she may have been debadged in the past, as there are no WR1 stickers on her anywhere. I reckon after debadging, she has been rebadged by a next owner. not really too fussed.

If you post up in the Essex section you might find a previous owner and find out a bit more about the history of the car.

mines above the intercooler switch so yes it is a preference to the person, enjoy the car and dont think youll keep it standard for to long!! i said the same when i had mine, now it tinted windows and re mapped thats all so far

there should be wr1 badges above side repeaters on wings thats all, there is none on boot most people add them on after

I like your plaque where you have it, so much so that I think I'll be moving mine to where you have yours!
