Yes they do use tritium - they don't glow very brightly, but obviously don't fade either. My Seiko with LumiBrite is much brighter initially, but fades after a couple of hours.

Mines a Traser "Code Blue" I think I paid £130 but they are about £150 these days. I would be more than happy to get one of the posher ones in time.

My current favourite (bearing in mind that I'm not a watch geek) is my Tissot V8 chrono

I've got a 'Code Blue' - don't get me wrong; it's perfectly legible, just not what I would call bright.
