There are some lovely cars there for apparent bargains. A Porsche 911 Turbo for £23,000 and a Hawkeye STI for £9,000. One thing that drove me mad though was that every car I looked at including the Ferraris had bad swirl marks and light scratches. When I got to the end of the showroom I saw them hosing cars down outside then drying and polishing them inside with appalling lighting. There was no way you could tell if you were inflicting any damage to the paint work.

That and the incredibly tempting prices. They really do seem like bargains on face value. Take the Hawkeye STI. It looks really smart with its prodrive 18" alloys and then you see the £9000 price tag and think "thats not bad at all".
...but as we know if it seems to good to be true...

To its left of the Lambo was a Porsche 911 GT3 which was made to look less than ordinary. In front of it was a SL65 AMG which was made to look just ordinary and behind it were 2 Ferrari 430 which ere made to look like a failed attempt at looking more than ordinary. The presence of the thing is immense.

I called in after doing work at the Dhl round the corner. Don't know anything about it to be honest but they had Lambo, New Skylines, RS4's Etc. Then a Bag of crap in the corner. Strange!

Never been myself but went to WRC Car Sales and some other one I can't remember what the name was. The one I can't remember had a horrific Lancia Integrale. WRC had a few nice cars but there was issue with just about everyone. Panel gaps galore on a dark mica blue Type R and in fact a STI V6 RA that I had first seen all the way down in Cardiff a few months before. This car really should not have been on the road - it had a bent B pillar FFS amongst other horrors. WRC were selling it at £9K
Amusing I always thought Keighly was said "Key Lee" it wasn't until my northern father in law informed me it is "Keith Lee"

As ive mentioned in the few previous threads I've made, I'm on the hunt for a JDM version 8 STI.
My quest threw up something pretty tempting for only 6k: THIS
Now obviously I've used the search function on here as I've heard about these guys before and a few dodgy stories BUT they have all been from a year or more prior, nothing overly recent.
I know the obvious answer is to go take a look at the car but its a 2.5hr drive and I'm a newbie to scoobies so could easily miss something important. So to save myself, the missus and the boy the heartache of driving there and finding it a lemon, I have 2 questions:
A) Has this car already been mentioned on here and if so what was said or is there a link to the thread?
B) Has anyone had any dealings with them since this specifc thread was started? Have they improved? Are the still to be avoided?
Any helpful info will be greatly appreciated

Ah right, its still on PH and listed on their website. Not sure who Rob is but would be interesting to hear is opinion of the car if he's been to view it and the reason he didnt buy it IF it is still for sale.

What ever you buy, where ever it's from, do your research, then do some more research, then take a specialist with you and double check EVERYTHING, don't listen to everything you hear on the net, treat every car and dealer as a seperate entity and keep your eyes wide open!!
Wish I had never heard of PCM/PMG, even though there's lots of good reviews of him, bloke is a scumbag just after a quick buck!

Keep away. I went up there for the first time a few years ago to look at a p1. It was crash damaged and not mentioned by the garage plus this was the same with about 10 others. They are cowboys. Never again.
