This of course pours irony onto the whole issue; as you can only present a Sky sports news show if your seriously 'top end', yet get sacked for making sexist comments on Sky Sports....go figure

Football is a ridiculous institution anyway, women generally stay away as its a load of overpaid fannies distracted, for a couple of hours from the business of crashing expensive cars, drinking chapagne, snorting coke and ******** hookers to kick a ball about.
Its an ok game but I cant see why everyone gets so f*cking tribal and religous about it, I can no more support a football team any more than I would get excited about my local supermarkets yearly results , they aren even guys from the local area any more, not even the country its just a game of who can buy the best players.
To be honest I tend to avoid rabid football supporters, they usually have nothing else to talk about and wear Nylon.
Disband the lot and start again, set a catchment radius for players, standard pay structure and let them get on with it.

This non story even got more coverage on the news last night than the death of the 350th UK soldier in Afghanistan.
The soldier from 2nd Battalion The Parachute Regiment, who is expected to be named today, was killed in a blast while making safe an area to the south of Nahr-e-Saraj in Helmand province.
The press should be ashamed of themselves.

Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson reacts to the resignation of Sky football presenter Richard Keys. Clarkson says all three Top Gear presenters would have been sacked 100 times over the things they've said in the past. He also admits that he would rather live in France than modify his behaviour.
