To be honest, this is all a bit silly. Some of the sexist remarks made by wimmins about men, and no one bats an eyelid. One daft little comment about this little lady and all hell breaks loose.
If I took umbrage at some of the comments made to me over the years, I would never have a job. Saying that, I give as good as I get
Well don't tell anyone, but I haven't a clue about the offside rule. Does that make me a woman?

Look, it's perfectly simple:

You're in a shoe shop, second in the queue for the till. Behind the shop assistant on the till is a pair of shoes which you have seen and which you must have.

The female shopper in front of you has seen them also and is eyeing them with desire. Both of you have forgotten your purses.

It would be rude to push in front of the first woman if you had no money to pay for the shoes.

The shop assistant remains at the till waiting.

Your friend is trying on another pair of shoes at the back of the shop and sees your dilemma.

She prepares to throw her purse to you.

If she does so, you can catch the purse, then walk round the other shopper and buy the shoes!

At a pinch she could throw the purse ahead of the other shopper and "whilst it is in flight" you could nip around the other shopper, catch the purse and buy the shoes!

BUT, you must always remember that until the purse has "actually been thrown", it would be plain wrong for you to be in front of the other shopper and you would be OFFSIDE!
Not apologising for any SIALity.

Could you explain it using dusters and a tin of polish?

yes -- you apply the polish to the cloth (not the surface) and rub it on the item in a circular motion using smooth but firm strokes.

Cheers But what about all this players being active stuff then? Is that a friend of mine at the next till along .. they maybe offside but as they have nothing to do with my transaction and even though they 'are on my side' that is OK?

Alternatively you could move in front of the shopper a head of you in the queue and if that shopper attempts to halt your progress as you attempt to go past, feign a dive and roll around on the floor in agony alternating between clutching your ankle and covering your face with your hands. The store manager will come rushing in, assess the situation and will then show the other shopper the door and send her off out of the store. When that happens, leap back up on to your feet with joy as if nothing had happened and as you now have the attention of the shop assistance you have achieved your goal in being the next person in line to buy those lovely shoes.

It's like having someone standing next to you, they look like they are about to make a transaction, but realise they are offside and let you go ahead. They haven't offended so no call. LOL

This is PC gone mad, a couple of blokes having the usual banter about a female official off air, I reckon they've been set up. Sky have HAD to take action because of the feminists out there who will cry out equality.

I hear much worse crap than that and I don't see the players or officials coming out with it getting anything more than a couple of weeks suspensions.

The best response was her making that correct call. End of story as far as I am concerned, move on!

As for women knowing much about football, do me a favour luv, shut up and get back in teh kitchen.
