Just a little bit of info. This RR day is still booked and has been since the 30th January. I have been busy with work recently, hence my lack of updates to this thread.
We still idealy need a minimum of 10 cars to make it worthwhile, as already stated by TDi all proceeds are going to charity. I will try to contact Shaun at TDi tomorrow during the day to confirm further and see if they will run with lower numbers.
If we cannot get 10 definate cars for saturday, it will be at the hands of TDi whether the day continues. I will let this thread run till thursday where i will confirm numbers with TDi and then let you guys know if it is still on.
Mike

As promised, we have finally set the date for the ESC rolling road day at Torque Devlopments.
http://www.tdi-plc.com/index.php?pge=C_news
We have booked on for the 19th march, the first run will start at approximately 9am. Each run will take approximately 40 minutes per car. For this to work we will need a minimum of 10 cars and a maximum of 12. This is due to the time needed to change the cars over.
Dyno cell http://www.tdi-plc.com/index.php?pge=C_gallery
As part of the run the car will be run in a purpose built dyno cell with two fully trained technicians. At the end you will recieve two print outs one showing your BHP/Torque at the wheels only. And one showing what your car was doing at set points throughout the rev range.
TDI have said they will provide tea/coffee and doughnuts on the day they also are not charging us for the day and all they ask is that each car make a £50 donation to the Great Ormond Street Hospital. This will be done via a just giving page (details to follow)
Now the boring bits : Myself and TDI will not take any responsibilty for your veichle, they can only say that your car will be in the best hands and whilst on the dyno is something dosen't seem right, they will end the run there and then.
You will need to fill in a disclaimer, on this form will also ask for existing modification and anything else you think they should know.
If there are any questions at all please contact myself or Jenkins (aka shaun at TDI) and we will try and answer any questions you might have.

Don't worry about it.
If people couldn't make it for what ever reason then that can't be helped.
We'll look into arranging another date later in the year when the weather has changed.

Dyno time is charged at £98.00+ vat per hour.
A power run with full data logging normally takes 30-45mins for 2WD vehicles and 45mins-1.0hr for 4WD vehicles.
Bare in mind that this includes full data logging. On dyno days we normally only capture boost pressure and AFR's.
Everything is charged by the hour.
