Where is the best place to buy a standard recirc valve and what would you expect to pay ? For a blob STI .

If you're trying to avoid dealer prices, try the classified for-sales on here, a Subaru breakers, Ebay even. They're not a part that's easily damaged unless they're very badly mishandled, so not much danger of winding up with a dud.

As said above try ebay or pistonheads ,the one below might be worth having a bid on as well .

Default original dump valve

Just found this...... does anyone have the original part number for the original valve or numbers stamped on it. Still looking but not in stock at Import Car Parts. Does anyone have a good working one. Where can I get some good spare parts from for JDM classics?

Mines not the same, if yours is a 1999. You could get a Forge one.

Don't know, also found this of a low mile STI. Ask if they have the metal hose aswell.

Guys, thanks but no joy with the usual supplier. Out of stock. I still done know how to connect it back to the manifold!! The one on Ebay is correct but does the hose and flange he is also supplying work on a standard car?

The outlet of the recirc valve (item 7) here....

connects to a rubber elbow (item 8 below-Hose assembly-vacuum, 22310AB751)
then a a metal tube (part of the breather pipes assembly)
followed by another rubber pipe (item 5 below -
Hose assembly-vacuum, 99071AA310)

before finally connecting to the Turbo inlet pipe.
