haha! me too, i had a pirelli p zero, a yokohama prada and 2 admirals, swapped them 4 a full set of toyo t1r's good all rounder and good value for the price! apparently crap on new age scoobs tho due to soft sidewalls

Yoko parada spec 2's on mine, very good tyre imo, haven't used them much in the wet other than a wet session at castle combe when I was sliding all over the place!
Cost me £300 but were used and came on a set of 18" buddy club P1's

Best tyre I had on my P1 when I had it was michelin ps2. Just bought speedline gt1 alloys which came with goodyear F1 gsd3's on them so they'll do me as a good all round tyre for track days. One of the best out there imo.

Toyo T1Rs, which are pretty decent in the wet imo.
Will give the Vredestein Sessatanas a shot next! Basically want whatever is best in the wet.

Khumo HM KH31, find them to be excellent once they have been broken in. Paid £340 for 4, also use Khumo V70A Hard Compound track tyres. Both are very good for grip and mileage and will get them again. Track tyres have now done Anglesey circuit, Castle Coombe twice, Pembrey circuit, Three airfield day, several sprints and test days at LLandow Circuit.

+1. I've had Dunlops and Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's on mine, and since trying the Vredestein Sessantas I wouldn't go back.
They're cheaper than the Goodyears and offer vastly superior handling and road holding in the wet in my experience.
For the price I don't think anything else gets near them - if you shop around you can get them for less than £90 a corner.
Regarding Toyos, they're cheap but apparently get a bit skittish as they get towards the end of their life.
I've also heard from my mate who runs an STI that Yoko Paradas are fantastic in the dry but suicidal in the wet.

Interestingly, there was a recent thread in the technical section where a user reported terrible shuddering above 50-60mph, and it turned out it was due to uneven tyre tread wear on the rear left and right - the car had a new tyre and a part worn - replacing the part worn fixed the problem.

I've heard you're supposed to replace tyres in pairs due to the AWD, but my WRX had two different rear tyres on when I bought it, and didn't notice a huge issue. One had a slow puncture so replaced them both shortly after anyway.
