Nicolas Sarkozy is latest to say multiculturalism has failed

It's a politicians job to do these things. Cameron may have something like this in mind, in which case, in future we will be saying what a great bloke he was, look what he did, etc etc etc.
Call me cynical, but in his case it seems like a good distraction as the economy appears to having a wobble as the idiots might have cottoned on to the fact that not even Lenin would be taxing us more and guess what? The economy night take a little dip.

I'm sure that you know I was not inferring that you are in the EDL. My point, just in case I needed to make it clear, is that despite even people like you and I agreeing on the point you made about MC, no one sensible seems able to state the problem with it.
All we get is the EDL, so the argument gets lost instantly.
Anyway.

I do wonder why they (goverments) have all suddenly wanted to start shaving heads and donning steel toe cap boots, must be a way of making (or saving) money from it......

Multiculturalism has failed?! No ****! The damage it's done to the social make-up of this, and other Western countries is significant.
The question is what are they going to do about it, and what will future policies be?

Nope. Call a spade a manual, digging implement, me ....
Of course the economy's going to take a little dip. It's about to go down the pan! Cameron? He hasn't a clue. He's interested in one thing, and that's himself. As are all politicians.

Multi-culturalism has indeed failed. I blame the chinese of course. They come over here, don't make an effort to integrate and spend all their time working hard making money and pushing their kids to the top of the educational system.
I have only one thing to say to people like that....
"Speciar flied lice prease"

I should know, my best mate Hidahn is one.
I'm a firm believer in FiFO (fit in or please leave) and as far as I am concerned it's for the benefit of my kids to integrate as much as possible (I draw the line at getting tattoos though :P)

There was a big enough discussion about the correct definition of Multiculturism on Any Questions let alone anything else about it all.
I think uncontrolled immigration was a big mistake in the first place. We are overpopulated and our infrastructure is unable to support so many immigrants all at once.
Apart from all that, we have a long tradition and culture which has been built up over all those years and we are entitled to expect that to be maintained in our own country.
If people want to come and live here then they must accept that they have to live under our rule of law etc. All this business of wanting to convert it all to the ways of the immigrants, including Sharia law as has been stated is wrong and unfair. Those who want to do this should accept that they should go along with our laws and traditions as we would have to if we went to live in their country. Its a matter of respect and manners.
If the true definition of multiculturism is that all those different nationalities should go their own way and ignore our culture and everyone else's then that is a recipe for disaster in the future, and what those leaders said is quite right.
I have nothing against anyone from anywhere over here, as long as they accept our basic way of life and laws.
