Had a ford mondeo tcdi (not sure which model) wanting to be in my back seat, so was opening the car up a little, roundabout coming up, he was ragging it through the gears and i was happy in 6th not going that fast tbh, coming up to roundabout and donkey in mondeo still not showing any signs of stopping, well I was going to stop for the oncoming traffic so I did he on the other hand sh@t himself with his car all over the place, I could see him getting all out of control with the rear end fishing about, me, stopped nicely in a straight line, then left him on the roundabout

Don't get me wrong I like the the odd play like anyone else but not on a foggy night and when the gritters have been out.

I find it funny really that people let it bother them tbho,i never really find myself getting annoyed whilst driving and if you have some chav on your bumper just let them go past and be done with it.
#37
I did but I think you will find most human beings feel better when they have ranted about their experience, which I do, but glad you had such a laugh about it.
#38
I don't find ranting does me any good tbho as i don't like getting angry unless i need to so running through the cause again doesn't make sense but i have to agree with you on this most do find it help's.

Im not laughing directly at you ScoobLou just the fact that people in general as it does tend to be more than most get so irate about such trivial things.

I do feel sometimes that other people do not bother to see the bigger picture on these kind of things that's all, hence my rant.

This is where we disagree, it may seem trivial to you but on a night when its foggy and icy they are not only putting my life in danger but other innocent road users; to me not a laughing matter.

I regularly get stuck behind Impreza ChavMobiles .... when I can overtake, I do - quite quickly - and, as the Impreza driver will be shocked at a Civic coming by I flash my hazards just to say thank you for making way ................. that's all - nothing to worry about.
Chill.....

annoys me as well, can not go out for a nice drive with the mrs & me dog (he has a special dog harness ) with out some idiot in a clio/corsa/seat wanting to see what the manufacturer of my rear wiper is
It does get really annoying, people really do not understand braking distances these days or what? what is the point of them doing it?
& as mentioned it is hard not to bite when i am on my own, but most of the time i just chuckle at why they bother

I find that I get a lot more unwanted attention now in my RB5 than I ever did in my previous car, 02 WRX.
I think people (who don't know much about cars) assume the older cars are much slower. The people I get trying to race me make me laugh - just had a 13 year old banged up Honda with a big exhaust try to race me. I don't even bother with these guys, really is just a waste of petrol.

Op, just ignore the little weasles and let them past. Maybe then you can be their hero when you arrive at their accident scene and phone for the ambulance!
I had a bloody white Transit van trying it on earlier on today
PMSFL that one wish I'd have been there to see his face
I used to do that all the time, soooo funny when they rag off and you just tootle to the left. Even better when they're on the inside and you pull up in the outside lane and turn right

i once had a donkey in a rs . hugging my bumper so much i said to the wife this prat wants a lift . she said leave it but i couldnt , so i anchored up where he couldnt overtake , popped the boot got out walked round back of car signalled him to wait , i then produced a rope and walked up to his drivers door and offered him a tow to the nearest specsavers and asked him if he could see my kids in the back . or could he read my number plate from that distance . anyhow i aint a small bloke and i think he got the messages
1 buy a real car
2 get your eyes tested
3 do that again and i will render you incapable of driving

Easy solution group buy on some bumpers stickers, 'yes it's quicker than your's, and no I'm not going to prove it'
I've had the misfortune many times and like said earlier best thing is to pull over and let the idiots kill themselves

Having a battered old legacy estate, I don't seem to have a problem, funny that !
The farmers in their tractors usually let me pass by unhindered and I haven't met one yet that wanted to race me !
An altogether gentler pace of life in Norfolk !

I have the problem of boy racers breaking hard in front of me, because my wagon is bright white, they think im Police!!
id love to get some flashing blue grill lights then just breeze past them when they stop.
normally the closer people get to my bumper when driving, the slower i go.
then when they do finally burn past the hid lights to tend to dazzle the little blighters
dont rise to them, they 90% of the time have no insurance or licence, and will drive off if you get tangled with them.
be safe and laugh at there silly little cars!
