Its not cheap but the initial fees may have well been for out of hours (was it ooh?) which is a fortune, then any investigative work and treatments, its probably a good 50-100 quid per night stay for the cat, so it adds up.
Our dog was in for 10 days at £50 per night excluding any sort of treatment (good job the tablets she had were fairly reasonably prices, about £80 per month), and that excluded the heart scan (that was well over £600 quid) and she wasnt a happy dog whilst she was in there (she wouldnt eat but drank a little, got her home and she scoffed the food down, though it wasnt mush it was fish
)
