Looks wonderful! Love the use of the Spitfire engine!
What brakes and supsension does it have? Do they cope with the power (ie is it a bit of ahandful on the bands or does it handle pretty well for its size?).

Awesome !! Wish I'd bought the car down THIS week!!
Small world though. The machine shop next to where I'm sitting does some
machining for the same chap I think. Recently he was making new splined hub assemblies with "knock off" nuts for him. Bit of a work of art.

I don't think "handling" is the word I'd use advisedly, it's more an act of faith.

Very special, do you know the intended use?
I've seen something similar based on an original Bently which was built for last years Peking-Paris, was expected to get trashed on the event.

The owner has at least one other Bentley, a genuine blower car. He decided he wanted "one last car" ! Good on him I say.

On the rally theme, one of my customers does classic rallying in a variety of cars including a 1936 Bentley, a 1936 Buick straight 8, and a 1962 Mercedes cabrio. We set them up before he goes, and they need a complete rebuild when he gets back. He did the Inca trail in the Buick, across Africa and a great many others in the Bentley, and a trip from London to Sydney in the Merc via France, Italy, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, Tibet and China and everywhere in between. He was worried about the electronic ignition system I fitted in place of the points in case he had a breakdown, so I gave him a spare set. As it happened it was the only thing that didn't go wrong with the car, including crashing it twice!
