I'm into hi fi and when I moved house at my 'warming party I put my system on and demo'd with:
Instrumental: virgin suicides by Air. Real test of speakers
Female: fast car, Tracy chapman. Pick out the acoustic guitar chords.
Male: space oddity, David Bowie. Excellent recordin with a mixed-mono, side to side production (Bowie sings at two pitches, if you listen in headphones the guitar is one one side and the drums on the other)
Rock: Baba o'reilly by the who. Awesome! Keith moons drums!
Dance. Choose life by fp project. Ewan mcgregors monologue from trainspotting.
Classical: toccata and fugue in b-minor by Bach. Loud!
Finally, to really show clarity, cavatina by John Williams which is an acoustic guitar track (known as the deer hunter because of it's usage in the movie of the same name)

Their factory used to be down the road from me. I think they still have a warehouse in Rayleigh
So you got them for what? Two and a half? It's just i thought you mentioned you owned a £10k pair of speakers and that made me take notice. No worries though.

some big discounts if they went from 6k to 2.5k.
