I know, the trouble is I just hate it when someone comes along who can do patronsing so much better than me
On a more serious note I maybe wrong here, but I don't think this thread has quite gne the way you intended. I guess you weren't taking a swipe at any government or political party as much as at the people who are happy to moan on fourms and the likes about fuel costs yet not actually do anything and drawing a parallel with those who got a petition of half a million signatures against the forestry sell off.
Whilst it is tempting to say that the governement were only looking after their own that was some petition and I do wonder what could be achieved if even only a relatively small percentage of the motorists of the UK could co-ordinate something on a proportional scale.

This wasn't Govt (of any colour) bashing, it was a swipe at those of us, and I include myself who bitch and whine at fuel prices, yet do bugger all to register our displeasure. My total contribution to the debate, apart from ranting on here, has been to press the "like" button on the FairFuel Facebook page.
I guess the Govt have got us where they want us. Too busy, too subservient, too embedded in "the system" and too apathetic to do anything about it.
PS I'll refrain from commenting on your typo's.

[QUOTE=scoobyvirgin;9888143]Blidworth Bottoms..................pmsl.
Had a photo shoot there with Classic Ford Magazine about 4 years ago now with my MK2 Mexico. The amount of strange people in cars just circling around was a little unnerving LOL

Saw a bumper sticker today
'I would rather push a Vauxhall than drive a ford'
I assumed it was a reliability thing but now I am thinking that Vauxhall drivers can't afford petrol ? At least when petrol hits 1.60 per gallon many pople will be priced off the roads, It might also trigger a massive economic collapse but at least we will save the planet.

At least they had the guts to apologise for the gross error in proposing to sell off our forests as well as binning the idea when they realised the objections from the people of this country. NL would never take any notice of what the people thought, they ignored us.
I just hope they will continue to listen to what we are saying in the future.
