A few of my evo mates have mentioned it may just be fluid burn?
That sounds strange as usually they start to slip under load in the higher gears first. If its an Exedy there is a part in the slave cylinder that should be removed so it might be worth checking this has been done, there are instructions on the Exedy website.
I thought mine slipped last week in 4th gear but the roads were pretty wet and it turned out that all 4 wheels were spinning.

Assuming it's a 6 speed box: AP racing organic will do fine. Don't mess around with twin plates etc at that level, not necessary.

I still reckon a AP one would be up to his needs. David at APi claims it'll take launches etc at that level! Maybe have a chat with him. If it turns out he needs something more meaty, I'm sure David will have some suggestions too.

David was the first person i spoke to & he recommended the AP racing clutch to me & on there track car one is running over 500 with 480 torque's.

I am shopping about at the moment to see which clutch is upto the job whilst being affordable.
