Still can't take a joke, I see
I don't quite see your correlation between oil prices and your idea that I have any political persuasions.
I've told you before - I don't have any.
Is Brent Crude not oil?
Look, I'll make this really, really simple for you.
'Some' people like the oil price to be very, very high.

It's 142.9p for V-Power here in Leic. (and 136.9p for 97 RON). Has been for at least 2-3 months now...
FFS. I can remember back in c.1991 unleaded was 172.9p......... a GALLON!!! Works out at 38p/l
So that's a whopping increase of c.360% in only 20 years!

And I feel totally justified in moaning about it.

I save my intellect for people and things that actually matter to me (and that make me able to afford fuel )
You most certainly don't come anywhere near, so please don't flatter yourself poppet.
You see, some of us can act simple.
We don't feel the need to act intellectual.
You have a sure sign of insecurity. Get some help ASAP!
All the best.

It's just f1_fan - he's not allowed to.
But then, there is absolutely nothing that we can do to change it.
Nothing.

And?
Look let me make this simple for you as it seems I have to to actually get through to you.
4 weeks ago oil was 113USD a barrel and petrol was 134.9 (here). It then rose to 135.9 and has gone back to 134.9, but in that time the oil price has dropped to 100 USD a barrel and with no significant change in the exchange rates petrol should have come down.
Your hero Osbourne promised he was going to watch the petrol companies like a hawk (his words, not mine) and yet here we being royally shafted!!!

Cameron and his fellow pigs at the trough are very happy to have the petrol price sky high as they think it helps the tax revenues and of course their pals in the oil companies. Let's see how smug they look when the economy falls completely on its **** as the effect of the spiralling cost of petrol and essentials like services and food take a real hold.

As a country we need to oust the present politicians and the last lot.... make them sign on the dole etc and get some fresh blood running the country...
I just cant see how we need to make sweeping cuts across the board and still fund countrys that house terrorists , and lets not forget our kids being sent to die fighting illegal wars in another country that doesnt want us there.
while MPs just increase thier expenses claims to cover any inflation

I know we've had Dominic but that's a more than a doubling of the cost of a food shop 10 years ago. BBC news troday says that basics will double in the next 20 years........ Blimey
