Good for you buddy, bet you looked really cool. Pleased for you
And the reason I'm aware of what Halfords sell is because about 10 years ago when I was a kid, me and my pals thought we looked the dogs rude bits in our 1.2 Nova's covered in Halfords sh*t. As I'm now a 'grown up' I realize what complete dicks we looked with stickers and the such like all over our cars.

I think someone's on their period, Biatch!

If all you haters really believe Graphics are chavvy then big spoilers and exhausts are much more chavvy than graphics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every spotty chavvy teenager I know has a big exhaust and most have pointless massive spoilers, Must be the area I live in as I can't remember ever seeing a chav driving an Impreza with graphics?

Of course im not Biased, but here is my view lol
Graphics are each to the owners taste, some love them and some do not. I personally have been brought up with graphics from a child, but have none on my current car... That will soon change, but they will definitely be subtle ones.
When I bought my last Impreza it was stickered to death with Swoosh graphics and it looked awesome on first glance, but as an ever day road car it was too much. One day whilst sat in a carpark waiting for my sister somone commented on it (in a nce way) but wouldnt leave me alone , I figured that i was drawing in unwanted attention so started to de-stickered it there and then (fortunatly it was a warm day). The only graphics I put back was the original Subaru on the boot and the 3 UK300 stickers.... the end result was much better...
My point is, I get asked frequently to make one-off graphics and usually I try and make them less glary. For example I'm taking on the scoobynet (official) sticker, but would also like to offer a little more without over doing it. In my opinion a Sunstrip with the Scoobynet logo on it would be a nice way to be subtle but yet make the point that the club is looking for.
For what its worth I think the Gobstopper graphics are superb, and if done in the right colour combo, ie white car with black and red stripes look a treat. This makes the point of interest that RCM are lookng for whilst not being over done.....

Well our lass must be a chav!!!...sometimes I wish she was instead of the 40 odd year old woman she really is!!
Not my cup of tea but each to their own I guess, And it doesnt stop the smile from growing all across my face when I take it out for a bit of a blast!!

well ,i also have been the plain jane type and not really interested in stickers on cars ,but maybe as im now preparing my car for the track only, im going down a totally different route and will have some kind of design ie CDR motorsport on my car to make it different from any other scooby thats on the track.

There a silver wagon round the corner from me with a massive scooby doo graphic up the side.! Now that's bad stickers!
I do like the idea of a subtle scoobynet sun strip sticker though.

just a question for rob.
as your doing the stickers now i like the original sticker and had one on my car is there any chance of the same on but a little smaller?
i am not a fan of stickers at all but woud like a small scoobynet sticker on my back window to show some support for the website.

I was hoping to have this sorted just after Xmas but ive been manic. I suspect that we will get there this month and yes there should be more options available to you guys subject to Snet aggreement.
I'll keep the original scoobynet sticker thread up to date, and once we go live I shall start a new thread so we have a definative cut-off / start point from where I take over

Are you insinuating that I think that people with graphics are chav's If so have you read any of my other post's in this thread? Fair play if so, Just seems your trying to make your point to me when it's the same And according to other people's opinions in this thread the answer to your question is yes

No he would be a sad old man with no taste
Or he would be someone who is not afraid to do what he wants and doesn't care what other people think, He would probably be someone who appreciates his car because of it's heritage and the fact that the Impreza is only really where it is today because of this so doesn't think that rally drivers are sad old men or chav's and likes the look of the rally cars so decided to replicate this look by adding the same graphics to his Impreza, What is wrong with any of that? If you disagree then why buy an RA And if you say it's because you like it then you undersatnd my point already If the OP wants stickers then who are any of you to tell him it doesn't look good, He hasn't fitted any yet It's his car, His decision, Poor bloke asks a question then gets flamed by lots of Impreza haters

On a road car no, simples!

99% of Subaru owners use their cars on the road, short journeys to tesco, the school run or to pick up their mrs from work etc etc. NONE of these owners use their car on the track, they are not rally cars, sprint cars, time attack cars or any other racing car.
Now ask yourself why racing cars and the such like use decals (and not because they look 'cool' that's for sure),,
They are there to promote a business. Either their own business or a company that has sponsored their car/supported their team in a financial way or supplied parts etc to help them compete.
How many stickered up imprezas on the road have been sponsored by 'cusco or hks' for instance ? NONE !!!
It's the same reason Tesco trucks have their brand slapped all down their lorries, promotion.
As I said in an earlier post, if you want to stick decals all over your car to impress your mates in mcdonalds car park then fair enough, it's your car and your choice and I completely understand that. Some people may not like the splitter I've got on my front bumper, but I do so it stays on.
I've not slated anybody for wanting to sticker their car up I've just made my opinion known along with many others.
Good luck with your car and I hope it turns out ok for you.
Matt....
