will do mate, the pistons do push back by hand, but I just wanted to double check.

Car is going to have the hubs checked again, Im certain the judder is coming from the front, doing it when the brakes are cold now aswell.

Will report back on Sat.

Well my car is back.... As stated walker, front discs skimmed, read discs replaced, blueshift pads all round. Feels much better, but will see how that goes over the next few xxx miles.

Default Bedding In

Hi All,

I’ve been following this link closely as I have been suffering with similar problems following fitting of Godspeed’s big brake upgrade and EBC Bluestuff NDX pads (as original post).

Despite my frustration, Andy at EBC and Ian from Godspeed have been encouraging me to stick with the setup and be a bit more enthusiastic with bedding them in.

It took me much longer than I expected (about a month) and a degree of frustration as a Track day at Anglesey was spoilt due to vibration from lack of bedding in.

However I did a track evening at Donnington last week and am pleased to report that everything now appears to be sorted.

During the first session after three laps there was some minor vibration but this disappeared as the evening wore on.

Braking for the Old Hairpin after the Craner Curves they felt really really strong and rearranged a few internal organs!

Thanks to Andy and Ian for bearing with me on this and for their patience and advice. I am not an expert on brakes and could only report to them what was being experienced at the time.

I clearly needed to be a little less mechanically sympathetic when it came to bedding brakes in!

I can only report on my situation but as Andy has detailed in his new generation pad material link (below) bedding in was the key.

It appears that only a few of us have had issues but it is good to know that people will listen.

Good to hear that it got fixed. The problem is that it's a little different trying bed these in like this on the public roads.
