Sorting the wife out!

my wife passed her test at aged 29.
bought her a little fiat punto- cheap ins. it was still £400 to insure. 1st yr.
and thank god it was only a cheap car.
genuinely she says the bumpers are named right, they are for bumping off things.
only this week she managed to get nearly stuck on the driveway and drive trying to manouvre out.
think that austin powers bit where he gets a mini moke stuck in a corridor.
I will buy her a decent car later this yr, shes done great now learning to drive in the last two yrs.
and being a fiat, its a fookin horrible car.

Its not mate, its a Jersey registed car. (J then 1 up to 6 numbers) There is no II county code in Northern Ireland! Oh and Jersey plates don't have the gap between letter and numbers!
O.P. Jersey is outside the EU so not sure where you'd stand registering it in the UK. However its with a UK dealer so they should sort all that out for you. Worth giving them a quick call IMO!

Mate had the Abarth version because his mrs wanted it. You can just about pull it off. Just don't wear a pink shirt.
Bit dodge of the instructor to only teach her how to set off in a diesel Yaris though. I'd want to have been told that a lot of cars will need a bit of gas when bringing the clutch up!
If she really wants a brand and likes an IQ why not splash 30k on the Aston Martin Cygnet for the next motor heh heh!

She drove the 500 fine. I don't know if it's because the engine is a 1.2 litre rather than a 1.0. She was giving it revs this time though. I think due to her liking the 500 she put a bit more effort in.
