Yep, really struggled for grip on every run but the times weren't so bad considering. My rear tyres were down to 16psi as well but still span all the way through 1st gear.

Funny how your best run on the day was where you ran alone, which was also where mine came from too!!

Ian Blackett took a good slow-mo video of my Skybus on Saturday, shows all 4 wheels spinning up and how slippery it was off the start line..... (car starts moving at 28 seconds and then shakes itself violently at 38 seconds, watch the front bumper and bonnet!!)

285 wide, which is great, but 30 profile which is not so good, but they were 2nd hand and cheap, so I snapped them up

My last photo of me at Santa Pod is the same as yours with the front very high, coilovers and a Whiteline Anti-Lift Kit sorted it out.

Thanks

Anti lift kit and some stiffer springs for me I think, although mine doesn't look like it's taking off like Trev's!!
My 60ft time was 1.84, is that good/bad?

Trev, have you got a 6 speed in yours?

Last edited by timthebat; 14 March 2011 at 09:27 PM. Reason: added 60ft time

mine are bad, actually have some assistors in the rear springs which don't appear to be working 1.84 is as good as I've ever got, 1.6's are to aim for.
Just have the 5speed

Unfortunately i'm not to sure, i've only been to Santa Pod twice and i've not got no real evidence and experience to say yes or no, looking at my slips my first visit i was getting between 2.3 to 2.5 and this time around i was getting in some 2.2's.
What's interesting is that i potentially have more unsprung weight to my car than last time as i got bigger brakes.

Thanks
Sam
