WTF were the schools doling when all this **** was going on? Duck taped to a pole? Not a good advert for the schools in question.

OK - So this how I see this:

In Casey's interview he comes across as a well educated, articulate young man.

Now my observations on Richard and my problems with his story

1. He looks like he is smirking all the way through his interview.
2. He comes across as being coached by someone who has experience of knowing what to say to get out of trouble. (After Casey has told his story)
2. It was one of HIS friends that had the camera who was recording the incident so it was obviously planned or he had told his friend what he was going to do prior.

Out of all of it though I can not help but place suspicion upon the parenting skills of Richard's parents . Now I do not know these people from Adam but who lets their children (at 12 years old) have a piercing through the eyebrow!!!!!

(Before people start slating I have no objection to piercing in any way shape or form but in my view it is like a tatoo, if someone wants one then fair play, but they can have one when they are old enough to make up there own minds about it, and truly understandwhat it means and what the implications are)

Obviously imho, but my 2 penny worth all the same.

Steve

Actually i think he is a lying little b@stard! Having seen the mother and father i am hardly surprised he is turning out how he is.

Look at the eye contact/eye rubbing tics: he's bulls**ting

Do you not think you're possibly missing the point?

He's like a (ahem) case study for what to look for when people lie. Complete and utter rubbish spouting from his lips. The only thing he told the truth about was when he said he wasn't sorry.

That scrawny little gobsh*te is lying through his buck teeth.

Body language when he's hitting Casey for a start. That's not someone lashing out because they are Angry, that's someone who thinks he's not going to get hit back. His picking his punches and has absolutely no fear of reprisal.

Then "his side of the story" again facial expresson and mannerisms are all wrong. Lying through his teeth again. Now we get to his parents, the very reason that birth control was invented.

the tragedy is: if he'd actually admitted to the whole thing (he was clearly egged on), apologised and asked for forgiveness he'd change his whole life.

As it is.... down the plughole he goes.
