Can I suggest that we all start off from McDonald's at Cyfartha Retail Park, Merthyr Tydfil at 9.30am?
If we try to get there for 9.15am at the latest so that we can sort out the route (I'll try and print off maps like last year), have some food and then depart.
I won't be leading this year but we should all be familiar with 90% of the route already apart from over Epynt where I haven't really got a clue.
Looking forward to seeing you all on the day.

just got back from hols and have missed out on scoobynet big time!!!being a right saddo now and catching up on the news!!!

I've just noticed that somebody who should be in his Impreza is taking his wife's Clio 197, at least he'll have an excuse now for being left behind.

I take it this is the newly built maccy d's in the leisure complex which has the cinema, nando's, frankie and bennys, subway, hotel, etc....?

Yep I know the one mate. I didn't know if that maccy d's had closed down cos last year it looked like they were about to pull it down, so I take it they were just refurbishing it then.

Having had a nice Miss Daisy drive up to the Welsh warrior I decided to come back a more spirited route.
But the car just did not feel "right" in the twisites, roundabouts and on the tight bends, so I backed off and drove back to the Bat Cave to put the car to bed. As I was cleaning up yesterdays mess I noticed some brand spanking new wheel weights on the floor. They had fallen off the wheels I had tyres fitted to yesterday.
Yep, look like they are off the nearside rear wheel.
Bugger!

Remember to take it easy today, we don't want any lunacy or Mr Plod will take an interest - it's a drive through around Mid Wales not a road rally event.
Show consideration to other road users and don't go taking silly chances, and if you see a Impreza Spec C going slow remember I'm running in a new engine.
