Frankly they make it as difficult as possible. For a company that prides itself on ease of use.... well you get the gist .... LOL!

so what's your point?
you're going off like apple is marketing it as a replacement laptop

iPods are pretty common, the iPad works in the same way but transfers all sorts of media. If you can't find someone who can use an iPod and iTunes then you need to get out more.
If you feel the need to connect things then try this http://www.tuaw.com/2011/03/25/plug-...-kit-for-ipad/

Everywhere you turn it's 'win an ipad this, win an ipad that. Even on adverts on TV (such as the dreaded sofa adds) the iphone and ipads are featured in the add, it's like an advert advertising an advert advertising Apple products.
Apple must be coining it on the hypnotherapy thing. People are so gullable not to be able to see beyond.

They are set to replace physical media. Magazine publishers are pushing their apps and websites, as when the majority have a device like this they will no longer need 200 tonnes of paper, 500 gallons of ink, a $10m printing press manned by over-paid operatives, trucks to ferry the finished article to retailers who want their slice. Advertisers will no longer hope that next time you log on after putting down a magazine that you will remember to visit their website as you are already a click away. Retaillers of everything from sofas to sandwiches can continuously tempt you with regularly updated offers and discounts, right there, live. Hard copy has been dealt a deadly blow by these devices, and as legacy customers decline I will ultimately end up out of a job. It's the future, whether we like it or not.

I wouldn't mind to buy an iPad2 for I am all for progressive techy gimmicks But I just don't have time to bum about on any iPad, I am not bothered if it is 1 or 2. I am sure I will end up with one soon, though. Saying that, I have spotted some stunning jewellery in one of our local store's window whilst whizzing past it in my superfast TDI VW I may spend my money on that amazing jewellery instead. I can do all iPad things on my laptops and on my iPhone, but I can't wear an iPad like some bling jewellery on me, can I? I also need to prioritise my "wants". I want a new Dyson as well. The one with roller ball technology this time. Not that anything is wrong with the one I already have, apart from the fact that it has no ball to it. Anyway, bollox to all that. I will have to have a think about that iPad2 thingy majeek.

Maybe not, but they'll be able to work better from home now. Have you tried the new Garage Band? Quite amazing for a marketing fad that does no more than a Game and Watch.

Apart from all the other things it does reading newspaper digital copies on it are simply enjoyable especially when you can store them on the device not needing online connectivity to be able to read them.
The one issue I still have with the ipad though is its screen resolution. I can't believe it would have added vast amounts to the production costs to increase the screen resolution.

I was hoping for a better display on the 2 as well. Amazing how it's still the best there is so long after release, hopefully someone will release a competitor and push things forward.
The Playbook from Blackberry may never happen and if it does may well be the straw that broke the camel's back. Share price is dropping like a stone and the CEO things apps on devices are a waste of time, bad call.
