yep, I know what you're saying. the Bullet is lower than a HPI Savage MT, and with the bigger weels I should be ok using in the garden on the longer grass.

Don't see that appeal of having big stuff and not having nitro.
Friend of mine is very big into flying and helicopters and he's converting those that can be into brushless.
If I get another 1/8 it will be nitro. They really aren't that had to run and tune etc. Never had a problem with mine.

Having seen both Traxxas and HPi I have to say I think the quality of the Traxxas stuff is far superior, although at a premium.
I was set on an HPi when i was first looking......until I saw the Traxxas stuff.

Nobody got one of these then I take it.
At these prices I'm not surprized
I know it's not a car but looks good fun!

Used to fly an RC plane 5channel full 3d etc, cost around 500 quid with the radio gear and its ALOT harder than using an RC car
This thing above is the cost of a half decent scoob, and harder to control. A m8 of mine fly's these and lets just say , the cheapest one he has is over 1.5k worth
A few years back I watched him practice in the back garden, he forgot to do up a bolt on one of the servos that controlled the main wing, ... it fell sideways at full chat in hover and bits of the blade nearly decapitated the next door neighbour and me in the process ! cost?= 300 to repair

Try www.hobbyking.com for lipos, they have a german warehouse and delivery is normally within a few days, once you get the truck you can measure the battery box and see the biggest you can get in there

A few of the guys at work have set up a fun league, turn up with whatever you want, i.e. an RC tank, tiny Beetle or whatever, a few have got serious and bought decent cars, one guy got an "Acme Werewolf" Brushless and **** me it shifts, he gave it some and it smashed into his feet, even being used to normal Electrics an nitro it surprised me, are the Brushless now Quicker than Nitro ?
