My old sport when I first bought it

Then some modding begins

Then some more

Then a little more

Still going

God I loved this car
Some more changes made this

And it all ended like this last January

But now I have this so all is good

i might to talbenny then, let me know about it? also is there a road rally class? or do u need in date seats etc?
There were two photo points on the rally that i noticed, and brian gilbert was on the regs as the official photographer? so i would have thought there should be some about?
whos out in the car on teifi?

clutch was spot on to be fair no issues, only a grinding noise which we thought was coming from the fly/clutch, but turned out it was the bonnet stay came out of the holder and rubbing against the altinater pully lol

Yeah, it's a sport. I was on the Cymreag Scoobies stand parked next to you in one of the shows lol. I think it was either Rallyday or PCAD. The wheels were gunmetal coloured then.

I know lol. I couldn't remember which show it was! You'll have to try and make another show soon. I haven't seen your scooby since you've done those other mods (black wheels, manifold, induction kit, etc). Looking forward to seeing it lowered too!

The mods have been done over time and also over two other imprezas!! The wheels were off my old WRX that were transferred onto my old green sport estate then onto this one, then powdercoated green. I bought a turbo bonnet, turbo front seats, genuine Borla unequal manifold & stainless exhaust for the green scooby & also transferred those over to this one. It's also got a momo airbag steering wheel, STI lowering springs on WRX shocks, carbon STI rear spoiler, carbon wrapped roof, carbon fuel flap cover, de-cat pipe (left one cat on for MOT), stainless induction pipe into the standard airbox with K&N panel filter, front upper strut brace painted white & green, tinted front lights and rear indicator lenses, spec c style rear arch extensions, front bumper splitter, TRS green tow straps front and rear & finally, a full respray. I hadn't realised how much had been done to it until I just made that list up lol. Plus there's a few more mods in the pipeline. I'm keeping the sport until my missus can afford to insure a turbo & I think that might take a while!!

I don't blame you for keeping the sport special for a bit, it's a cracker. I'm from the Newbridge/Blackwood area. It's a small village called Trinant. Woody28 from Cymraeg Scoobies lives here too. There's 3 Scoobies in the village altogether, mine, Woodys & my future father in law's.

Beasty sports, you say?

I think I can add something a bit nasty from the other side of the pond. It has been dubbed the MOB (Most Overdeveloped Beater) and was built for SCCA Solo competition. She started life as a 1996 1.8l Brighton and slowly developed into a hi compression hybrid EJ25 making 204whp and 171wtq on a LinkPlus G1 ECU. Most every aspect of the chassis has been changed or lightened to bring the weight down to 1966lbs before ballast going in to make a 2088lb minimum.

Video of some throttle response tuning and full pull (cams falling flat at 6800 rpm).
