Gregh
Not KT Greens, R N Goldens. Had it on two consecutive days for an hour each time. First on my own, secondly, with the missus when she wasn't at work. Needed her permission to trade the MY00 in, NOT.... Just a good excuse to get my hands on the car again....
In truth though, Goldens are very very good with things like this. Very helpful, and I guess even more so when it comes to existing customers![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)
Cheers

T5NYW,
How do you know that this figure is true? Do you know something we don't? Or are you just guessing (which is about right I would have thought)???
Matt
The rumoured PPP for STi7 will take it from 261bhp to 310 bhp

Matt,
The figure is Rumour/assumption after Prodrive day and Mike Woods the Prodrive Devolopement big wig and Fecking good driver![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
took us all around in his UKSti7(black)on the track.![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Speaking to most people after who'd could then compared it's performance on the day with a 1) STD P1 2) WRX total decat DV and Induction, Std STi7 and a group A Sti7RA ![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
305-310 was the figure most people banded around
Speaking to Mike about prospective power as we were Power sliding around the top bend![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
he just changed the subject
not even a hint.
THIS IS TOTAL RUMOUR AND CONJECTOR by Big wigs/ salemen at dealers
They seem to think a "quote fiqure" of 305bhp with torque of a 320 bhp
would be very nice![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Then in any comparison to the £32k EVO7 QU @ 310 Bhp verses the £29k PD STi7 PPP'd 305bhp??? might make the scoob a more comparable proposistion![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
maybe better ITHO
Edited to include it's just what I've been told at dealerships and generaly talking to you Subaru Peeps. I have no special insider info from Prodrive. Flame suit on

I saw the afore mentioned Mike Wood's STi at a recent track day -appropriately with number plate 'PRO 300'. I unfortunately did not go out in the car but saw it go. Very very very fast but I suspect also very very non-standard. The exhaust would not pass any drive-by noise tests and judging by the flames out the exhaust did not have any cats. The PPP will have to have at least one cat to pass the tests.
Conjecture again, but I would guess that the STi PPP will be much less powerful than this beast probably around 290-300 bhp.

If everyones having a guess I'll have one too! I reckon 280 BHP max.I d'ont see how it can pass emissions, run on 95-97 RON,not be too expensive and have 20 BHP over its Japanese cousin. They'll probably charge 2K to put the proper ECU back in!! I know I'll have to eat my hat if I'm wrong but I think those people estimating it at 310 BHP are doing some seriously wishful thinking.Just be thankful if they can get it right this time.

Well I have only the techies advice to go on with at the moment. My old WRX, fully decatted (up pipe and down pipe) and Blitzed was reckoned by Scoobysport to be pulling close to 250BHP over the standard 218bhp. Any advice from the guru is alright by me.
As I was saying before, my STI7 with down pipe, Samco hoses through out (I'll get pictures to follow) and ITG panel filter should be pulling close to 300bhp. Of course this is prone to scrutiny - but as Tony has said before, your guess's is as good as mine. What "real" effect does the PPP have on this??? As I have said all along - we'll have to suck it and see. Rolling roads say a lot on the day, but one has to take into consideration a lot of factors and each dyno will have a different reading from the next. Again - suck it and see.
At the end of the day, being an Impreza owner is all about BHP grabbing - I am one of many that is proof of this statement. We are all guilty, but that is half of the fun. Male instinct really - but hey, what the f**k - brag by name, brag by nature - we're all having a laugh!!! even if it costs us a few quid - all in the name of competition.
Talking of braging, I have been informed that my PPP is #0001 on the list for PPP'ing - so there!!!!!!!

Thanks for the Compliments TW. Could not have done it without your guidance. I'll buy the beers or coke "IF" and "when" we meet up at the pub next door to the dealership (Spike's). Call me (get number from Dale) and we can brag all day

I obviously like my tunes as well as my privacy.
There is extra go to compensate the weight, ie. Apexi SAFC & AVR controllers + JPI Exhaust + ITG Filter , approx 325 bhp . Great fun.
Cheers

MattyB,
Thanks for stopping by for dinner. Was a bit surprised when the young lady was asking for me. Good to put faces to a car (or the car). We'll be seeing a lot of each other I suspect.
