Question

Gary,

Is that an overhead guage pack over the rear view mirror, or some cunning dial cut outs in your sun visor?

It is 2x APEXi SAFC and AVR conrol units. There are various different configurations, ie 2 analogue dials , digital monotoring of 1,2,3,or 4 channels.(revs, throttle position, speed, boost, air correction etc).I think they look top and they also increase performance. It's now running @ 325bhp at 1.3 bar.

Gary,

What have you got behind you STi covers?
Considering your stickers are lower than normal and is there a hole there??
Nice install in the boot, did you do that yourself??

Cheers,

Rob.

I've always wanted those APEXi SAFC and AVR conrol units, for my MY99. The blue would look good in mine too.

Can't afford it these days though...

Nice set up Gary.

Cool

I have fitted some projector fog lights by flush fitting them to the covers and then fitting some tweeter grills over the top. I had some new STi stickers made @ Signs Services Ltd in Bolton 01204 393409.
The system I had fitted @ Global Ice Wired in Bolton 07779271943.
The APEXi stuff was fitted @ RC Developments in Northwich 01606 786706.
Cheers

HYP1C,

What does a JPI exhaust consist of and have you got any details on it? Do you have any boost spiking problems (i.e. what is your peak boost figure)?

Cheers,

Matt

I believe the JPI removes 1 cat as the dealers found problems removing the front down pipe. This was backed up by RC ,who said after inspecting the JPI system on the ramp that it was very substantial.I have no boost spikes ,just steady boost peaking and holding at 1.3bar.
The exhaust I had supplied and fitted new with the car at the dealers (Robinsons in Rochdale),cost was £470.00.
Cheers
Gary

Mick, doors fine. Bonnet looks like its been in Kabul on a bad day though. Its must be something to do with living in Leeds?

Only seen two STI's in Leeds, mine and Rum's. His is protected from chips by all the stickers.

How about a prize for the most tarted up STI? I have certain nominations in mind....

Mick James,

Try putting mud flaps on the front - does help!

Mick

I have a luvely one on the bottom of my drivers door, about 5mm in length. Got that in the first week of having her.

Mud flaps came too late for that one....

Touch up pen on back order, expecting in 2 weeks

Second Impreza now and still the paint quality is shocking.

Cheers

Simon
