I wasn't sure if I said I beleived in any of it, just what a magical and odd experience to have.
It was arranged by my friend, so I assume there was no cost, or I would have paid.
I can 100% see that is could all be made up, but sometimes there are cases where I couldn't explain it.
Yes, using these 'formulas' it is easy to attribute most of what the pluck to anyones situation, but some of these things were not random or generic, they didn't ask me any questions, just bombarded me with all this info.
The only thing that does make me doubt it all is my lack of beleif in the afterlife, or anything related.
Especially lately, any small amount of faith I had has fizzled away.
Do I beleive my father was there communicating with these people? No.
It's a bit dad that some people take it as gospel.

You have to be brain-dead to fall for things like that.
More vulnerable you are, more likely you will believe things like that.
I once had only got in to see a medium on 1-to-1 basis, I was about to take seat, and she said: "You are a very strong person." I said to myself: "Really??? No ****, Sherlock! You don't say, man." Then, she said, "Are you Leo?" FAIL! When I told her my real birth sign, she doughnutted (means she went round in circles), and tried to get me to focus on something else.
Tricks of the trade, eh.

there is a lot of fake ones it's like star sign you can pick any star sign and it will make you think woe that's so true!!!
the real ones do exist, but they don't contact the dead that's for sure.

What do they do, then? I thought mediums are like mediators between the departed ones and the living ones? They claim to have some awesome techniques/powers to communicate with the spirits?
Are you talking about the fortune tellers, palm readers, card readers, rune readers etc.?

the above is some information that I gathered from reading and going on forums and asking however I could be wrong and I might of misunderstood it.
some people chose not to believe things like demons, god ect and some just don't want to think about it but god does exist.
the best trick ever was the devil convincing people he never existed

One of the saddest traits of the human species is it's unwillingness (in general) and inability to accept that it is insignificant to the point that once dead there is ...... nothing.
Victims of our own success? Look at how advanced we are in comparison to other species that we co-exist with, look at our level of self awareness - the list goes on.
This is why we simply cannot accept that we are no different from the beasts. We are but mere animals, our race, our species is simply another example of life that has evolved on this panet.
We got lucky (or did we?), we have risen from the universal gene pool and reached (in our collective opinion) highs never before seen and along the way we have come to rely on, for all of our advancements & superiority, the belief that we are part of a greater plan, that we cannot just simply end.
It smacks of desperation. Ashes to ashes and dust to dust - that is what we become. My lost friends and loved ones are not "looking down on me" they simply ceased to exist. One day I will cease to exist.
There is no trickery, no magic, no other side, no heaven. Life ends. Anything else is a comfort blanket.

I'm starting to believe.
I just entered "Hello Steve" on www.iMedium.com and the page didn't exist, he definitely would have replied if he was dead and we know he's still alive. That's proof right there.
