Cool

Fair enough...

My comments were akin to the lend us a tenner sentiment rather than any indication that you were being uncompetitive in any way.

I have heard some horror stories re. hiring vehicles of this type along the likes described i.e. fake damage claims etc. and I am jolly glad to hear that you don't fall within this category.

What attracted me to this thread in the first place was the line of business you are in. A friend would like to arrange a Ferrari drive for her 82 year old father, but given his age and the fact that he is a foreign national, the normal route of a red-letter day event would not be a viable option. I am currently looking for somewhere where we could arrange for him to be taken out for a spin. In addition to a supervision package, would you consider this as a viable option?

Perfect brand new (used 4 months) STi6TypeR will be handed over to a stranger tomorrow. He better look after her or there'll be trouble

I just hope the F355 is as good as I think it is, time shall tell. I'm niether rich nor cleaver, but if ya like cars ya like cars.

PS. anyone lend us a fiver, I really want to use Ronnies company after those kinds words from John.

Sorry Ronnie, the F355 rental is out of my budget, the Elise still maybe possible; will let ya know.

Are trackdays covered in the insurance?

I think I know the answer to this already...

I guess the Ring isn't a problem though.

It was worth a try. Not even a one way toll road in Germany? Guess the insurance/running costs would be prohibitive.

You should see the list of things they check/replace on the car before track days over here. Its sponsored by Ferrari but even so its an expensive job.

Just to add my praise to Ronnie and his team for sorting out an F355 spider for a friend of mine at short notice for a Ferrari Owners Club jolly to France this Easter. I would certainly not recommend anyone else, there are too many sharks out there!
