I got let off by Vosa on my plate last year as i had a new one on me with my broken one in the car... They said that if i hadnt then i would have been given 3 points

Scogsy off here was given 3 points as he had been warned already that month about his small plate

And providing it still displays the EN number and legal symbols in the right corner along with the address / postcode of the plate manufacturer. This has to be displayed to be legal.

So if you cut down the plate, make sure you don’t cut these bits off. Or get a plate made with the EN number etc closer to the lettering and then cut off excess.
