Fair play to you fella for taking what IMO was a badly modded classic and turning it in to something to be proud of...

The rear arch needs a repair to hold the bumper but thats being done next week.

After a P1 Splitter next and Fog covers but is booked in to bodyshop 1st July for a fully respray in the same colour.

Nice car bud. Just curious about the facelift grille and front bumper. Were they a straight swap or did it require some tweaking? Thinking about putting a new grille on mine but have no idea if it will fit with standard headlights etc.

a straight fit but you will need the following -

facelift bonnet
facelift lights
facelift bumper
facelift grill

or you will get horrible gaps and wont sit right

awesome save from the initial abortion

...but like Stu said I would have kept it standard; just another run of the mill face lifted classic now

Was thinking about facelifting mine, I take it the lights you had on there were facelift already so they didn't need changing? Just wondering how big a job it is really.

As you're also in Colchester, where did you get the parts sprayed? Thinking about a full respray for mine as it's looking weathered.
