Heres another short installment but the to do list is getting shorter and shorter!
Please excuse the quality of some of the pics as some are from the phone.
Cheeky little tweeters added and the rest of the wiring brought out through dry wall boxes can change the facia panels accordingly now
Crossover for the tweeters are just behind the panels at the top for ease of access, only have to remove 2 screws.
Trimming the floor to shape and size, purchased this last year and the more I read threads this is becoming popular was hoping it was going to be a little different to everyone else out there.
Was a little nervous cutting this with a sharp knife but just took my time, the advice I would give is square the floor up making sure you'll have enough to cover the whole floor then stick a small section down to stop the flooring from moving.
Sofa/Bed all fixed down.
Cupboards all in place and screwed down with the doors in place, the angled end panel is going to house all my electrics and main switch panel.
A little bit of late night wiring, it was about quarter past eleven but tunes on and chilling in the back was lovely,
Few pics of the facia with the switched installed, bought a standard blanking plate and cut it accordingly.
Parked up with a few friends taking advantage chilling in the van with the lights and tv hooked up, need to get a tray made up to put the battery under the bonnet, its currently living in a cupboard in the back.
All wired upto the headunit which has freeview all built in, fairly good picutre on the flip down for an ebay special.
One for the boys, my mates found it hilarious that I could get babestaion on freeview and rotate the screen out the rear window, yes we're very grown up LOL:
How she stands at the moment on a little bit of a cruise yesterday exploring abandon and derelict buildings (Yes random I know)
The van needs a good cutting back now though to get some reflection back in the paint, the previous owner had it blown over :*
Van came in handy today also speccing some track time and drifting when the heavens opened we jumped in and watched from the comfort of the van. Cant belive how small my mate makes the van look stood next to it.
Thanks for taking the time to read through, comments/suggentions welcome
Ryan.

Ive just got a hefty 100amp relay, its rather large with a smaller voltage sensing relay but there is also an output from the fuesbox that I could use. The advantage of the voltage sensing, I can then wire my little indication panel into the dash that I have in mind to inform me of the charging state

Well its been another month not able to work on the van but ive had to get a move on the last week as im booked at a site in Cornwall this weekend.
Cheeky little bonnet bra,
I wasn't going to let the rain stop play this weekend just gone,
Started with some flashing on the roof and then cutting the panels to fit my shallow spot lights in, this pic shows the front half in place and the rear still to go up. You can see the mounting bracket for my flip down screen/dvd player.
Holes cut in the insulation for flush mounting of the Monitor,
Ikea once again to the resuce for my work top, this was a large end dressing piece for a wardrobe in the bargin basement due to damage on the corner so I made the misses sit in the back of the car so I could fit it in. Cut it to size and put a hole in the corner for the gas pipe, its all about the attention to detail T:
I spent the evening wiring up the electrics temporary in the cupboard for this weekend coming, the pics arent great because they're taken with the phone. The pics show the spots all up and running

Bit of an update, took the van for its maiden voyage as previously stated down to St Ives Cornwall. Pre booked Ayr campsite for the 30th sept to oct 3rd and dam the weather was cracking it must have been waiting for me to complete my camper build. It was a mad rush the week before finishing things off like the curtains and getting together all the utensils and bedding. The weekend went soo smooth with no hicups at all so its time to final fix all the electrics and chargers.
Heres a couple of pics of the van in action.
My 4k Camper parked up with all the tens of thousands of pounds worth of campers and it had the most attention
We had been there no more that 10 mins ans the misses had taken over although she wasn't sure if she would like the whole camping, but it paid off.
First nights meal,
Cooked breaky the following morning,
The bed all set up, airbeds used at the moment until I source the foam. Wrapped the airbeds with a king size quilt and it was soooo comfy.
The misses Living the dream,
The view from the van,
The waters of St Ives and proof the van made it to Lands End with company from my mascots,
I Know I have missed a few pics of the making of the curtains and putting up curtain wire to fix the curtains, I shall cover this in more detail in a week or so.
Thanks for following my build people its been so worth the effort I have put in, I will also be detailing the electrics at some point now I know it all works .
Thanks again guys, Ryan.

Resurrecting an older thread of mine boys but I've done a little more in the van now the weathers breaking ever so slightly and I've been asked to put a few more pics up so here goes!
The idea when i bought the van was to do as much myself and as cheap as possible finding alternative solutions without compromising quality and im hoping this has shown throughout my build.
If you've read the thread then I took the van to St.Ives Cornwall last October and it was awesome and the van worked well.
Next up was to sort cushions/foam for the bed and then get it all covered.
The foam was actually my old matress, I went out and bought a new bed just to be able to cut it up.
With the foam all cut up I thought about different options having it covered, got some rough prices to have covers made and for a small box cushion your looking at £60 so at a guess I worked it out to be about £240 to get the foam covered and thats not including the cost of material.
Im a true believer that if you put your mind to it and think about what you want to achieve in a logical manner you'll achieve it no problem.
In my mind I knew what I wanted the covers like in the van so decided to get my hands on a sewing machine and make my own yes you did read right make my own covers for the foam bed.
Enough from me heres the pictures in order of how I made them:-
Pretty much there just awaiting the rear panel to be stitched but was put off by the thought of the zip
The dog approves you can also see the zip fitted into the rear.
Both of the base cushions covered and trial fitting and I am completely over the moon with them, I cant begin to explain how chuffed I am with how they have turned out

Had another session with the sewing machine to get the rest of the seat foam covered up and in the van.
Heres the pics:-
Zips going into the rears incase at some point you need to add more wadding or take some out,
Becuase im using a layer of memory foam and then normal foam I wrapped them together with wadding to hide any un even areas.
And last but not least the finished article and Im also chuffed to say I spent a grand total of about £90 and I've got lots of material and wadding left over so could have done it for about £60-70 if I was to make them again.
Folded into bed format so you can see how it all fits toghether.

All important fire extinguisher installed and the killswitch for the leisure electrics, just need to move the battery under the bonnet now.
Started tidying all the little bits up in the van and getting rid of the pegs I had in place stopping the roof from bowing down. Sprayed the strips up black, because Ive carpeted the original panels I thought I may be able to get away with using the original clips but no such luck.
There were two holes either side of what looked to be a recess for an interior light, they were perfect for self tapping screws and the rest I drilled a few little holes myself.
The lights have now been painted black and the factory interiors lights fitted into place.
More updates to come this weekend as im wanting the van finished for the up and coming shows.
Thanks for reading so far,
Ryan.
