You need to read some of the "Who's crashed/thrashed my car whilst it was being serviced ?" threads....

dunx

P.S. I even keep all my old oil filters and oil drums as proof...

Yeah, I've seen some of that too. Whenever I took my EVO to Mitsubishi, they would always take it out to 'check that everything was OK' at the end of the service. Unfortunately for them, I used to disable the boost controller so that the car was actually running less boost than it would have done standard

you may find a fsh car that has done tons of track days!!! that you wouldn,t know about. i can see why you are annoyed that people say fsh when it clearly isn,t.
i missed my service as it went 14 months but only did 2400 miles in that time and tbh that wouldn,t bother me.. i would probably advertise it as a fsh and get shot by you lol

No I wouldn't shoot you. Lol. I decided that a couple of months of thousand miles wasn't a deal breaker, but most of the cars I was looking at had missed a service altogether (so 24 months between services or say 17,000 miles between services), and that isn't even close to FSH!

Sorry to hear you never got a scoob in the end and some unhelpfull posts prob did not help.

However,

You will now regret not getting one and in the future do not get in one as this will set you off again, lol

Enjoy the car and hang around here.

Mac

Thanks for the nice message Mac - I am a positive person and my cup is always half full, so even when people are a bit 'harsh', I don't take it personally :-)
You are wise to tell me not to try a Scoobie as I [I]know[I] that stepping out of that back into my 220BHP Bora will make me think that I have left the handbrake on

Thanks loads,

Glad to hear you got something sorted Matey.
Shame there are so many falsely advertised cars out there to tar the properly cared for examples....
