I wasn't being abusive, just informing him that to communicate sensibly he should try English. I think you will find it was he who hurled the abuse. I can understand why you might have missed that though given his inability to use the English language with any great degree of competency and you maybe not having a Chavspeak interpreting device to hand

Right tightened the spring on the BOV, should only VTA at high revs now and chatter at conservative revs! Incidently my reputable mappers never queried the BOV or pointed out rich running and the 3-4 tuners trying to solve the cylinder/bore wash issue didn't once point out the BOV as a culprit. RE Motorsport being one and they seem to have good kudos on here.

It's like the famous lexus light/6x9's debate one popular forum idiot says they are crap they all do.

Maybe just because we are a full member we think it entitles us to display arrogance and belittle other peoples taste and opinions.

RA Dunk & F1 Fan - you pair of absolute hipocrites.

Just by chance the last thread that I was reading happened to heavily feature the pair of you protesting at just this kind of attitude & behaviour, calling for bans etc.

You two are doing exactly the same thing to this guys simple question about a dumpvalve.

Just say your bit "they are bad for your engine" etc and then butt-out. No need for all the language and the slights is there?

I understood perfectly that the lad was asking for advice on dump valves, if that offends you, then butt out, it's really that simple.

And I don't like the spread of text speak especially on a site that actively discourages its use in its terms and conditions. It's lazy and unnecessary. If you don't like that then you butt out to quote your distasteful vernacular.

Yes, text speak annoys me also, but you must realise that this is now a recognised as a form of communication in training and education circles.

Your exteme critisism of the use of english and the spoken word to belittle the views and opinions of people is a constant irritant.

My son has difficulties with literacy but that does not detract from the fact that he is an excellent mechanic and has proved his competence in achieving a nationally recognised qualification at level 3.

Not long ago you were even displaying your arrogance much to my amusement by questioning and challenging the expertise of a well renown respected Impreza engine tuner.

You say that the use of text speak does not comply with the terms and conditions of this forum, well if this is the case, shame on them as they are allienating a section of enthusiasts that have something to offer this community regardless of their taste.

Text speak is both lazy and retarded, is it any wonder the country is going to shit, IF it is recognised in training and education.

All it is, is a bastardisation of the English language, and rightly so isn't tolerated on SN. People using text speak generally have, in my opinion, nothing to offer to any community.

So do you think that persons that use this form of communication are lazy and retarded?

Do you think that this form of communication also does nothing to promote inclusion and learning in education?

Text speak isn't that bad, can be fun as some actually type art their regional accents - IT'S THIS THAT REALLY GRATES INTERNET SHEEP.

But I suppose in the world leaders bid for globalisation we have to be proper.

Yeah, people that use "text speak" on a forum are lazy, and quite possibly some may well be retarded.

If I was a teacher, anything handed in that was written, I'll use the term loosly, would be chucked straight in the bin. "Text speak" has no place other than in a text message on a mobile phone, and even then I wouldn't and don't entertain it.

Thanks for the congratulations on paying to support SN.

You seem to have typed that fine.....

If you can't spell for toffee, you can't spell - that's fair enough, if you're Dislexic and therefore spell poorly - thats fair enough. Don't be lazy and resort to "text speak" as that's just dumb.

I'm far from arrogant, but, I will accept I am a bit of a **** at times.

What is your problem with micky paying to use SN. At least he has paid to support the site (as have I as a matter of fact) whereas you are just feeloading so why don't you think on before mouthing off in future?
