I didn't want her having anything to big as it would spend more time in the workshop for touch-ups than on the road
Her driving is not the best and that's being nice about it

So you wouldn't mind giving up your car then with what you have said?

I have modified every car I have owned and it has been a total waste of cash. In past cars people have told me to sell if say I have an engine problem but I know best so I refuse and keep the car Turns out a few times I was wrong and the spend to fix the enging problem gets well well out of control

But guess what I'm happy as I made my own choice

NO one takes any notice of advice from others on cars as they all know best! I have been there and done that Sensible people take notice and make a choice before it affects thier pocket

You'll have me breaking the thing again in a minute steve
It is a very hard decision to make as you said we all think we know best and the only thing we can all hope for is that in the end we end up happy with our decision which ever way it go's.

Just read through your thread mate, sorry to hear about all the issues you are having

At the end of the day its only you that can decide what is best. You must balance the pro's and con's of keeping the car whilst bearing in mind the amount of time and money I know you have invested in her.

You more than most, know that sometimes things do not run smoothly and my 2 cents (for what its worth) would be to garage her for a short while, sort out your work and personal commitments and then come back to it.

(I suspect my other shock absorber is about to give up the ghost on the way to JapFest so I will get an ear bashing from the Mrs over that one lol and how my car is a waste of time and money. However, ownership is a passion and personally, the pro's outweigh the con's for me.)

I genuinely believe you would regret selling/breaking her, keep a firm grasp on that towel for now, its an amazing motor you have there
