Yeah, a result of a holiday to Le Mans and Switzerland. It's only insulation tape, but the glue makes a mess when you take it off, hence why they remained fitted until I washed the car a few weeks later!

Prefer the look with front fogs, the covers make me think its the cheaper one. lol.

I`m seriously considering getting crystal lights for my prefacelift as I think they look nice.
(Shame they never made preface crystal lights)

Shame that photo is 3 or 4 years old!!!
But it looks soooooooooooooooooo nice, had heard facelift lights and a preface bonnet could be done but struggled to find pics, after a marathon google image search I found some tasty looking examples (yours included). And that was me sold on the matter, and seeing as I`ve a Facelift steel bonnet here that I was going to use, seeing those examples with the Preface bonnet and mine being Ally sold me to the idea.

Plus everyone seems to Facelift them, I honestly only know of 2 local cars that are Preface, all are facelift or mainly bugeye onwards. The Preface is the original, and what first made me like Impreza`s so why stray too far away from that??

By the way nice car.

Tbh I think its just the lights, with modern cars being clear types, the older glass ones look dated.

If they made a crystal set for the preface I`d deffo get a set, as they look sweet with just the lights changed.

This is one I found looking around before, and it is the same as mine bar colour and crystals. I know what I`ll be doing when I find a decent set.

Pre facelift looks better i think, why try to make a old car look new? It is old and its not a bad thing at all.

Nothing wrong with the facelift variations but I'm more one for keeping them as they should be these days.

Far more respect from me keeping it as per your first picture, looks nice.

And as for fitting facelift lights on early bonnets, that's a deffinate no! The gap above the lights is laughable.
