just in case the guy pay you a visit, get a tape recorder so it will record some sort of evidence. might wanna get a webcam to look after your outside property.

Anyone have a link for astravoys words of wisdom? I read them when he posted them a while back but as seach isn't working.. would be good to have a giggle over them again!

Bravo.....
If it was me i would make contact with him and arrange to meet in a busy pub.
If as you say they were seperated then it is going to be hard for him to accept, this causes anger and anger, violence. Let him get it of his chest verbally and if he threatens or becomes abusive, leave.
Just be passive dont apologise just tell him straight and fair.
Remember he will feel the victim here and allow for that.Dont put up with threats.
Oh and buy a Rottweiler, works for me.

He may only be small,but lessons have been learnt by myself involving people who are smaller than me.Me being 17st4lbs of gym freak,and the opposition being 7st pi** wet thro.Its not how big you are its what you use!Not trying to rattle your cage but something to think about.Doesnt matter how big you are if someone gasses you,you go down and stay down,not nice.
Best to speak to him on the phone first,to gauge his mental state.
If he is a looney your only option is to find another bird,or do him in,you get him first and in my experience they dont come back.
If he hasent confronted you yet,my guess is that he never will,hes just tryin some mind games on you.And unfortunatly it looks like its workin.Chill till it happens and see how you get on.Either way it will be done and over with when its done,if your anything like me its the waiting for it to happen that does your head in.Id rather get it done and over with what ever the out come.

Well folks thank you all for your advice but it looks as though it shouldn't have been my property that I was worried about. HE DECIDED I WASN'T AN EASY ENOUGH TARGET SO HE BEAT THE LIVING **** OUT OF HER LAST NIGHT WHILE DRUNK AND IS NOW IN POLICE CUSTODY.
Not going into any more details but to say it was horrific by all accounts but she got away with relatively minor injuries for what he was trying to do. I JUST HOPE THE ****** GOES DOWN FOR A VERY LONG TIME AND IS DONE FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER, although having experienced this country's legal system he will probably get off lightly because he was drunk!!!!

I totally agree with you Pete, my ex wife did stuff to me that made my blood boil but no matter how much they bait you, p!ss u off, threaten you, whatever, blokes just cant hit women and I don't understand any bloke that does, they are scum of the earth and thats an understatement, u just have to walk away and deal with it. I hope he gets a good going over inside because he will deserve it. I'm just glad it can't happen again now as he will be in the hands of Mr Big before too long.

Just for info, an ordinary tape player is not admissable in court as it has the ability to be doctored and any good lawyer will just throw the evidence out. For a tape player to be admissable, it needs to be on a certain kind of tape in a certain kind of player.

Contact the police right away. Print out the emails and take them along as proof. Stress that you are seriously worried about actual harm coming to you, relatives and/or property because of the threats made.
Hopefully the police will look into it. At least you will have reported it so they will be aware if anything occurs.

If he wants a meet then go along (if you want to that is), but, do it at a place of YOUR choosing and I would suggest having a mate or two there, either with you or lurking nearby. Now I am not going to say "then leap on him and give him a kicking" What I am going to say is, talk to him, see what he wants, if he starts anything then you have your mates to jump in and help out if needed, plus witnesses as well.

Don't know if you have read back on this thread a bit but I don't think I need to worry anymore as he is in severe poo poo and is looking at a custodial sentence, with his appearance in court being a week today, and as he has pleaded guilty I presume sentencing shouldn't take too long???? Plus the police are fully aware of what he has said to me as this was all made clear by his ex when she had to do her statements of what he has done and been upto, I am now the least of his worries!!!

Sorry to hear about what the ****** has done to her. Hope she'll be ok. Suffice to say I'm of the school that says you don't beat women, even if they beat you! sorry, it's just the way I am. Nothing sexist here, ala 'weaker sex' and all, just that its not 'right' to do it.

Lots of reasons m8, it is far too complicated to explain plus I am not going into private stuff,i will say tho we haven't known each other more than several weeks which is reason enough on its own, hope I have kept what I have explained so far as much of as a story as possible instead of getting into private details.
