best bit is though its not just a week or a month ban its a life time ban
if i win lotto tonight the p1 is up in flames and a new user name on the p1 site for them all to watch ;-)

Clubs are like 'old school' companies. They are basically clique driven empires headed up by some jobsworth little Hitlers. The smaller the club the more up themselves the people running it tend to be. Don't worry about it and move on... you may have had a lucky esacpe

I've been in many Scooby clubs & the P1Woc is without the best out there. Its a shame your experience went **** up mate, but you are painting a wrong picture of The Woc to everyone else.
The club is known for it's welcome and help assisting potential P1 buyers and our calender is one of the busiest out there with good turnouts from members as far as Germany.
It's unfair to right off such a good club you haven't had a term with fella.

mate i only asked how to put stuff up for sale , it was the mods that sent me the snotty message , and when i asked about my p1 spec they thought i was trying it on , i wasnt as i got told if i tryed id be banned , so i didnt i put it on asking peoples thoughts
next thing i get a message saing im circumventing site rules and lied about it

i joined the p1woc a month ago because i was looking to buy a P1 and thought it would be the best place to find information. they have one up for sale but the price seemed a little inflated and the information was lacking so i asked some questions.
they all jumped on me saying that i was hijacking the sale. funny because there were loads of posts from people who already own P1s saying that it was worth the price he was asking but to be honest their opinion doesn't count, it's the buyer who was me. only reason i didn't buy that car was because of the comments they made towards me when i asked for more information. went elsewhere and bought a P1 very similar to that on p1woc but £3k cheaper.
made a point of telling them all that i had bought one. wanted them all to know that their actions forced the only genuine buyer on the forum to look elsewhere costing the seller on p1woc.

I've found the forum to be more than welcomming and when I have asked questions I've had great advice.
From my experience of online forums the way you read into a question and answer can be interprieated several ways. Also how you put yourself across in a post can have a hit or miss reaction.

,just a regular friendly P1WOC member who cant understand why some people find it so difficult to follow the fairly simple rules which apply to most forums.The least they could do is try to hide it a little,not come on to a forum and say "hi,i want to come onto your forum and sell stuff even though nobody knows me from adam,then i,d like to slate bits of your cars as well".
