Amazing! Are you going to tart up the body work or are you going to keep it looking old?

Within the sub culture that is VW ownership, the "rat" look is the pinnacle of attainment. Some people fake it, but that one is absolutely genuine, and the result of complete indifference by the cream of american quarry workers over a protracted period. The sun baked look is a joy.
I think it's good enough for the Tate Gallery, so move over Tracey Emin.

IIRC on the old combi vans just doing the spark plugs was virtually engine out.

And the throttle cable is about a mile long.

Agreed, this is about as far from "barry boys" as you can get.

If you don't mind me asking, I assume the engine work and guessing gearbox was done by yourselves? If so out of curiosity what would that cost as a drop off pick up supply and fit deal be?

Obviously if that's what's been done if not what was your part in this project. If you don't want to state a price then please pm me.

Cheers

One for the normal cooling system and the other is for the Chargecooler.

We specced and built the short block, overhauled the heads and supplied the other engine build parts. We also supplied the clutch and turbo. We supplied and fitted the Syvecs and Martyn mapped it. It's coming back when the charge cooler has had a re design.
The gearbox is the original case with beefed up internals.
