Ah, i only seen the pictures and what it went for. I'm assuming repair was pretty good?.

still a straight one is not worth 3-4k more.

I have pretty much decided to run my 2003 impreza into the floor after the offers i received for it.

I would stand to lose nearly 5.5k after 2yrs of ownership if i let it go for was was being offered for it.

I was surprised how the values has dropped since I sold my RB5 back in October.
I searched on ebay for recent completed listings and I couldn't believe how many Classics that sold for less than 2k!

That's some serious depreciation chap.
A very close pal of mine bought a brand new Range Rover Sport TDV8 in september 2007 for almost 60K. He sold it in late 2009 for 30K

There were only 2 versions of STI type R V3. One was WRX type R STI version 3 and the other was WRX type R STI version 3 signature edition.

Scooby-boy,
Price depends on many things buddy. Mileage, condition, spec etc etc.
For example, a 100K rusty type R is worth an awful lot less than a fully forged 400bhp one.

Have a look on Pistonheads how many Ford/Vauxhall/VW "Poorformance Cars" are for sale.

Subaru and Mitsubushi sold and continue to sell far less than most marques. They are rarer than Focus ST's/ASTRA VXR's/Golf GTi's.

JDM import cars will dry up soon as the Yen rate is killing the trade. All Jap mainland made cars are going up above inflation. Have a look at GTR's new, compared to two years ago .
Two more wrong statements, i've owned both cars wrx import and uk turbo. The insurance was alot higher for the import, some insurance companys would not even touch the import. As spares are more exspensive i've been told.

I bought my wrx 5 years ago for 1500, models in the same conditon and miles there selling now around 1500, wheres the price drop? The only models that maybe dropping faster are the newer ones, this can be said for all newer petrol cars. and anything good on fuel is going up in price regardless of age

It would be worth working out how many miles it's done. Obviously it came into the country reading in KM. If you have the first MOT certificate (it will show miles) you can work it all out.

And I'm 99.9% certain all the signature models were yellow. The normal STI v3 type R was available in white but not the signature edition I thought.
