I always ask before the mapping and also again on the day of the mapping as things do get added or things that have been suggested beforehand dont get added. It certainly helps sanity check results against previous experiences with similar spec cars.

Ok Aladin: lets have less of the potentialy damaging insinuations being made about a trader with no evidence, please (especially on someone elses's thread)!! If you have a problem with their services, spit it out and give the other party the chance to defend themeselves. If not, keep quiet please!
There are two sides to most stories and people should reserve judgement until they have heard both sides!
As an example: I recall something happening a while back where an individual complained about a mapper who set up their car with an AVCR, subsequently complained they had done a crap job and shouted about it left, right and centre to jeering from the SN lynch mob. However, it trasnpired later on that he had fiddled with the settings on the unit, thus personally undermining the mapper's work!! People changed their tune somewhat then!

Thanks for all the replies guys! I just asked because two well known mappers in the north from well known tuning companies mapped mine together and I wasn't asked what mods I had when I booked it in or on the day. I thought it was curious but didn't know if it mattered at all. I had quite a few mods and no Walbro so I thought they might mention it etc.

Whilst perusing the 22b thread i see that this plum alladin character is still threatening 2 bad mouth Duncan at every given opportunity,he just comes across as a spoilt little brat that's has his sweeties taken away from him! if ever there was a case of somebody needing 2 grow up its this one-comlpete and utter fool!
